As the rainbow flags unfurl this June, cities all over gear up for vibrant parades and celebratory gatherings. This annual commemoration is more than just a series of parades and festivities; it’s a powerful affirmation of diversity, inclusion, and the ongoing fight for LGBTQ+ rights. From parades and performances to reflective discussions and community outreach, there’s lots going on in our Wilde cities to celebrate Pride. Across Manchester, Edinburgh, London, and Berlin, the rainbow flag flies high and messages of love and acceptance ring clear.
London Pride: 29th June 2024
The UK’s largest Pride event, the London Pride parade is set to fill central London with colour and joy on June 29th this year!
Beginning at 12pm at Hyde Park Corner, this parade will have over 30,000 participants from more than 500 different groups, and will end at Whitehall after approximately six hours of parading. Don’t worry though – the party continues in Soho and Trafalgar Square over six free, fun-filled stages hosting performances from pop-stars like Poppy Ajudha, DJS such as Princess Julia as well as spoken word artists and fabulous drag performers like Ginger Johnson.
The Golden Square and Dean Street stages in Soho keep the street party alive until well into the night.

Berlin Pride: 27th July 2024
Berlin Pride 2024 promises to be an unforgettable celebration, packed with a variety of events and activities that embody the spirit of inclusivity and diversity.
The highlight is the Christopher Street Day Parade, which will start at Leipziger Straße/Spittelmarkt corner at noon, making its way through Mitte to the Bundesrat and Potsdamer Platz, before ending at the Brandenburg Gate around 4:30 PM. The parade will culminate in a final rally featuring speeches, captivating performances, and fantastic musical acts.
For nightlife enthusiasts, Berlin's legendary clubs like Berghain, SchwuZ, and Ritter Butzke will host special Pride parties featuring diverse music genres and performances. Additionally, venues like Klunkerkranich and Volkspark Friedrichshain provide more relaxed, outdoor settings for celebrating under the stars. Whether you are looking for lively parties, cultural events, or simply want to experience the inclusive atmosphere, Berlin Pride 2024 has something for everyone.

Edinburgh Pride: 22nd June 2024
Scotland’s longest running celebration of diversity, Pride Edinburgh makes sure the rainbow shines over the capital city this June.
Edinburgh Pride 2024 is set to be a vibrant and inclusive celebration of the LGBTQ+ community in the heart of the city. The festivities will kick off with a colourful parade marching through the historic streets of Edinburgh.
The event promises a full day of activities, including live music from acts such as girl group Atomic Kitten and drag queen sensation Kitty Scott Claus. Attendees can look forward to a variety of entertainment at multiple stages and venues around the city. The celebration will continue into the night with afterparties and events hosted by local LGBTQ+ friendly bars and clubs.
In addition to the entertainment, there will be numerous stalls and booths offering information on LGBTQ+ rights, health resources, and community support services. The event is expected to attract thousands of participants from across Scotland and beyond, making it one of the most significant Pride events in the UK.

Manchester Pride: 16th – 26th August 2024
The very first Manchester Pride took place in 1986, and Manchester Pride 2024 promises to be a spectacular celebration of the city's rich LGBTQ+ heritage and vibrant community. Known for its lively atmosphere and inclusive spirit, Manchester's Pride events will transform the city into a dazzling display of colour, music, and unity. Manchester Pride Festival is a ‘party as protest.’ Part of the largest LGBTQ+ liberation movement in the world, this festival is a celebration of queer people, culture and expression.
The festivities will kick off with the iconic Pride Parade weaving through the heart of Manchester, showcasing a blend of creative floats, spirited marchers, and exuberant spectators. The Gay Village Party, set in the historic Canal Street area, will feature an array of performances from local and international artists including none other than the Sugababes and Rita Ora as well as drag royalty Danny Beard and Banksie. Additionally, thought-provoking panel discussions, health and wellness workshops and dance shows provide spaces for reflection and connection.
