Wilde Aldgate isn't a hotel in the standard sense, it's an aparthotel where every studio and apartment comes with its own kitchen, a living area, and enough space to actually settle into. Positioned where the City's glass towers meet the painted murals of East London, it works as well for a three-night city break as it does for a month-long project placement.
Aldgate sits at the intersection between two sides of the same city. the financial district on one side, the vinyl shops and curry houses of Whitechapel on the other. Whitechapel Gallery is a 7-minute walk along the high street; Brick Lane is 10 minutes through some of the city's most visually dense streets; and the Tower of London anchors the area's western edge, a 15-minute walk through the old city gate it shares a name with. Aldgate East station is 6 minutes on foot, connecting you to the District and Hammersmith & City lines and putting central London well within reach. The Thames Path is a short walk south, if you want to stretch your legs without getting on a tube.

Yes, we are located on Commercial Road, within easy reach of trendy East London and the City Centre. Shoreditch with its markets, pop-ups and art spaces is a short walk away and tourist attractions such as the Tower of London and the Jack the Ripper Museum can be reached on foot. With Aldgate East station just a 6 minute walk away, you can easily explore all that London has to offer.

We offer a delectable breakfast menu to get you out of bed in the morning. Breakfast is served from 7am-10am Monday - Friday and 7am-11am on Saturday and Sunday. Help yourself to our Wilde buffet breakfast selection of freshly baked bread, mini pastries, smoothie shots, fresh fruit, yogurt and cereals/muesli. Or if you fancy something a little heartier, tuck into our cold meats, smoked salmon and smashed avocado – divine! Pair your choices with freshly ground coffee, teas or chilled fruit juices. Vegan and dairy free options available.
Yes, we provide complimentary cots and high chairs. A fitted sheet is included with the travel cot, but you need to provide the rest. You can add cots and high chairs to your booking on Wilde.com so they're in your apartment when you arrive.
Good to know
We want you to feel right at home with us, with the space and privacy to unwind. If you’re staying for a week or more, your apartment will be cleaned on the fourth day, and once a week thereafter. Your room has everything you need to keep your space spic and span, and of course additional cleans can be arranged for a small fee (£25 for studios, £35 for one-bedroom apartments, £45 for two-bedroom apartments). The team are also happy to provide extra towels and any essentials you need. If you’d like us to collect your rubbish, simply hang the rubbish collection hanger on your door.

We don't like to wag our fingers, so we'll get this over quickly. No smoking in rooms or communal areas, and no events or parties. Double denim is, however, very much encouraged. We also now offer pet friendly stays – check out our pet policy here.
Flexibility is the spice of life, which is why we offer fully flexible rates that allow you to cancel for free anytime until 3pm the day before. We also offer semi-flexible rates that mean you can cancel for free up to 3 days before your arrive, and still stay in our good books.
